Please be advised that Chairwoman Cecilia Jones has called an Emergency Meeting of the Walton County Board of County Commissioners to be held on Friday, September 8, 2017, immediately following a Special Meeting beginning at 8:00 AM, to provide the Commissioners with Florida Sunshine Law, Public Records and Ethics Training.
This purpose of this meeting is to hear an update from the Emergency Management Department on Hurricane Irma and possibly declare a local state of emergency due to potential flooding and strong wind damage.

Be advised, two or more members of the Coastal Dune Lake Advisory Board will be taking a tour of the Deer Lake Restoration Project. No official Coastal Dune Lake Advisory Board business will be conducted during the tour.
