ITB NO: 23-33 ROCK HILL ROAD WIDENING AND RESURFACING PROJECT
INTRODUCTION: The Board of County Commissioners, Walton County, Florida (the “County”) is seeking competitive bids for the Rock Hill Road Widening and Resurfacing Project.
Sealed bids for the Rock Hill Road Widening and Resurfacing Project will be received by the Board of County Commissioners, Walton County, Florida, hereinafter referred to as "County" at:

Bids will be received until 3:30 P.M. LOCAL TIME on September 28th, 2023, and will be opened immediately thereafter.
SCOPE OF WORK: This project is for the construction of the Rock Hill Road Widening and Resurfacing
Phase I Project. Phase 1 project limits extend from US 331 to High Lonesome Rd for a total project length of 3.95 miles. This Project is federally funded through a grant from the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT).
A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at the Walton County Public Works Division located at 117 Montgomery Circle, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435 on September 14th, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. Participants may call by conference phone number 850-635-0655 extension 261217.
Last date to submit questions is September 21st, 2023, no later than 12:00 Noon. All questions are to be directed in writing to . DIRECTING QUESTIONS TO ANY OTHER STAFF, PROJECT ENGINEER AND ANY OTHER PERSON IS PROHIBITED AND WILL RESULT IN BID BEING DISQUALIFIED. Questions received after such date and time will not be answered.
The Bidder is responsible for the delivery of its bid. Bids received after the specified day and time will not be opened. To be considered, Bidder must submit bid digitally on a USB THUMB DRIVE, along with ONE ORIGINAL PAPER BID, in a sealed envelope clearly marked "ITB NO: 23-33 ROCK HILL ROAD WIDENING AND RESURFACING PROJECT " addressed to Bids: Central Purchasing at 176 Montgomery Circle, DeFuniak Springs, FL 32435.
