ITB NO: 23-23 CR 883 FREEPORT SIDEWALK PROJECT 

INTRODUCTION: The Board of County Commissioners, Walton County, Florida (the “County”) is seeking competitive for the Construction of the CR 883 (Business US 331) Freeport Sidewalk. 

Sealed bids will be received by the Board of County Commissioners, Walton County, Florida, hereinafter referred to as "County" at:

Bids will be received until 3:00 P.M. LOCAL TIME on August 28th, 2023, September 11, 2023, and will be opened immediately thereafter. 

SCOPE OF WORK:  Improvements will include ADA compliance, signing, pavement markings and minor drainage modifications. This project will enhance safety upgrades by providing pedestrian facilities for both Freeport Elementary, Freeport Middle School and Freeport Village Apartments located within a major roadway in Walton County. This Project is federally funded through a grant from the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT).

Last date to submit questions is August 17th, 2023, September 5th,2023 no later than 12:00 Noon. All questions are to be directed in writing to . DIRECTING QUESTIONS TO ANY OTHER STAFF, PROJECT ENGINEER AND ANY OTHER PERSON IS PROHIBITED AND WILL RESULT IN BID BEING DISQUALIFIED. Questions received after such date and time will not be answered. 

The Bidder is responsible for the delivery of its bid. Bids received after the specified day and time will not be opened. To be considered, Bidder must submit bid digitally on a USB THUMB DRIVE, along with ONE ORIGINAL PAPER BID, in a sealed envelope clearly marked "ITB 23-23 CR 883 FREEPORT SIDEWALK PROJECT" addressed to Bids: Central Purchasing at 176 Montgomery Circle, DeFuniak Springs, FL 32435.
