RFQ  NO: 23-05 TITLE: CONTINUING COASTAL ENGINEERING AND COASTAL ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SERVICES

INTRODUCTION: The Board of County Commissioners, herein referred to as the "County", is seeking statements of qualifications from engineering consultants, licensed to practice in the State of Florida for professional engineering and consulting services of an expert on coastal engineering and coastal environmental management.

This solicitation is made in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 287.055, Laws of Florida, known as the Consultants’ Competitive Negotiation Act (CCNA).

Statements of Qualifications will be received by the Board of County Commissioners, Walton County, Florida, hereinafter referred to as "County" at the address shown below:

RFQ DEADLINE: Tuesday, January 3, 2023, no later than 2:00 PM (local time) and will open immediately thereafter.  

SCOPE OF WORK:  Walton County requires services in the following areas of coastal engineering and coastal environmental management. The services sought may include, but are not limited to; coastal environmental management, coastal engineering and environmental consultant services in support of current and future coastal engineering projects and issues, and coastal engineering services as defined in the County’s Habitat Conservation Plan (HCP) such as assessments, project recommendations, project reviews, and/or observations.

Last date to submit questions is December 19, 2022, no later than 12:00 Noon. All questions are to be directed in writing to . DIRECTING QUESTIONS TO ANY OTHER STAFF, PROJECT ENGINEER AND ANY OTHER PERSON IS PROHIBITED AND WILL RESULT IN BID BEING DISQUALIFIED. Consultants are responsible for the delivery of the qualifications package. Qualifications received after the specified day and time will not be opened. 

To be considered, Consultants must submit a complete qualification package digitally on a USB THUMB DRIVE, along with ONE ORIGINAL PAPER PACKAGE, in a sealed envelope with "RFQ 23-05 CONTINUING COASTAL ENGINEERING AND COASTAL ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT SERVICES " clearly marked on front of envelope, addressed to Central Purchasing at 176 Montgomery Circle, DeFuniak Springs, FL 32435.
