INTRODUCTION: Sealed bids for the TDC VISITOR CENTER AND ADMINISTRATION OFFICES PROJECT will be received by the Board of County Commissioners, Walton County, Florida, hereinafter referred to as "County" at the address shown below:

Bidders must be prequalified. The Prequalification Questionnaire can be found on Pages 6-12 of this Invitation to Bid and must be submitted to the Office of Central Purchasing prior to 3:30 P.M. Central Time on October 4, 2022.

SCOPE OF WORK:  The TDC Visitor Center and Administrative Offices Project includes all necessary work for completion of a 24,132 s.f. four (4) story structure with an observation tower, courtyard, and utilities required for the project. In addition, the proposed 87 space parking lot, retaining walls, exfiltration stormwater system, paving, grading, limerock base, stabilized subgrade, turn lane construction on US-331 and other ancillary features are outlined on the sitework plans.

A pre-bid conference will be held at 9:00 AM on October 27, 2022, at the TDC Beach Maintenance Facility 924 South County Highway 83 Santa Rosa Beach, Florida 32459 TDC Visitor Center 25777 U.S. Hwy 331 South Santa Rosa Beach, Florida 32459.  Bidders may also attend the pre-bid meeting via teleconference by dialing 850-635-0655, extension 268534. 

Bidders attending via teleconference are strongly encouraged to join the teleconference at least 10 minutes before the designated start time. If unable to join the teleconference at the number above, please call 850-267-1216 and ask to be included in the TDC Visitor Center and Administration Offices Pre-Bid Teleconference.

Attendance will be confirmed via roll call at no later than 5 minutes after the designated start time. 

Last date to submit questions is November 10, 2022, December 12, 2022, no later than 12:00 Noon. All questions are to be directed in writing to the Purchasing Manager at . DIRECTING QUESTIONS TO ANY OTHER STAFF, PROJECT ENGINEER AND ANY OTHER PERSON IS PROHIBITED AND WILL RESULT IN BID BEING DISQUALIFIED. Questions received after such date and time will not be answered. 

Bidder is responsible for the delivery of its bid. Bids received after the specified day and time will not be opened. 

To be considered, Bidder must submit bid digitally on a USB THUMB DRIVE, along with ONE ORIGINAL PAPER BID, in a sealed envelope with " ITB 22-035 TDC VISITOR CENTER AND ADMINISTRATION OFFICES PROJECT " clearly marked on front of envelope, addressed to Central Purchasing at 176 Montgomery Circle, DeFuniak Springs, FL 32435.
