Design Services for the Old Town of Santa Rosa Regional Stormwater Management Facility and Event Venue 

 INTRODUCTION: Sealed qualification proposals for the Design Services for the Old Town of Santa Rosa Regional Stormwater Management Facility and Event Venue will be received by the Board of County Commissioners, Walton County, Florida, hereinafter referred to as "County" at the address shown below:

 Proposals will be received until 4:00 P.M. LOCAL TIME on April 25, 2022 and will open immediately thereafter
 
 SCOPE OF WORK:  The Board of County Commissioners, herein referred to as the "COUNTY", is seeking statements of qualifications from Professional Engineering Firms, licensed to practice in the State of Florida for professional engineering and consulting services, to provide master planning and engineering design services for the development of approximately 220 acres of land recently acquired by Walton County for the purposes of a regional stormwater management facility, event venue and passive recreational park.  The subject property is located east of CR 393 North between US Hwy 98 and Chat Holley Road in Santa Rosa Beach.

 Letter of Interest should be prepared by a corporate officer or principal of the firm authorized to obligate the firm contractually.  The letter should include summary information on the firm’s history, offices, and personnel that will support the requested services, resources to accomplish the work, summary of personnel experience, key projects and project approach.

 Last date to submit questions is April 5, 2022, no later than 12:00 Noon. All questions are to be directed in writing to the County Deputy Purchasing Agent. DIRECTING QUESTIONS TO ANY OTHER STAFF, PROJECT ENGINEER AND ANY OTHER PERSON IS PROHIBITED AND WILL RESULT IN PROPOSAL BEING DISQUALIFIED. Questions received after such date and time will not be answered. 
 
 Proposer is responsible for the delivery of its proposal. Proposals received after the specified day and time will not be opened. 
 
 The Purchasing Department is closed all Fridays.

To be considered, Proposer must submit proposal digitally on a USB THUMB DRIVE, along with ONE ORIGINAL PAPER PROPOSAL, in a sealed envelope with Proposal number along with "Design Services for the Old Town of Santa Rosa Regional Stormwater Management Facility and Event Venue " on front of envelope, addressed to Central Purchasing at 176 Montgomery Circle, DeFuniak Springs, FL 32435.
