The Board of County Commissioners, Walton County, Florida (the “County”) is seeking to enter into an Agreement with a reliable and qualified individual and/or company to provide all labor, material, equipment, and supervision to manage beach equipment rentals on Walton County Regional and Neighborhood Beach Accesses, 100’ or greater.

RFP CLOSES: November 01, 2021, no later than 3:00 PM local time and will open immediately thereafter.

All technical questions regarding this Request should be directed in writing; preferably by email to the Purchasing Agent. Questions shall be submitted no later than 12:00 Noon (local time) on October 25, 2021. PROPOSERS DIRECTING QUESTIONS TO ANY OTHER COUNTY STAFF, OR ANY OTHER PERSON SHALL BE DISQUALIFIED FROM SUBMITTING. Questions submitted after that date and time will not be answered.

All proposals shall be accompanied by a bid security in an amount of ONE THOUSAND AND 00/1OOTHS DOLLARS ($1,000.00) made payable to Board of County Commissioners, Walton County, and in the form of a certified bank check or bid bond, issued by a surety authorized to conduct business in the State of Florida and having an A.M. Best rating of V-A or better and who is listed on the United States Treasury Department's T-list as acceptable to issue bonds for the applicable dollar amount. Failure to submit an appropriate proposal security shall result in the proposal being declared unresponsive.

OUR AREA IS NOT A DESIGNATED OVERNIGHT FED EX DELIVERY LOCATION. OUR OFFICE IS CLOSED ON ALL FRIDAYS. IT IS THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE INDIVIDUAL/COMPANY TO ENSURE THEIR RFP PACKAGE IS DELIVERED ON TIME AND TO THE DESIGNATED PLACE AS INDICATED BELOW.

LATE PROPOSALS RECEIVED AFTER THE AFOREMENTIONED DEADLINE DATE, EITHER BY MAIL OR OTHERWISE, WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED AND WILL BE RETURNED UNOPENED. THE TIME OF RECEIPT WILL BE DETERMINED BY THE TIME RECEIVED IN THE PURCHASING AGENT’S OFFICE. PROPOSALS OFFERED ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE VENDOR FOR ASSURING THAT PROPOSALS ARE RECEIVED IN THE PURCHASING OFFICE BY THE DESIGNATED DATE AND TIME. NO FAXED, ELECTRONIC, OR ORAL PROPOSALS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

To be considered, Proposer must submit ONE (1) paper original and ONE (1) digital copy of their proposal on a USB thumb drive in a sealed envelope or package, clearly marked with the Proposer’s name, address, and the words “MANAGED BEACH VENDOR PROGRAM” addressed to Office of Central Purchasing 176 Montgomery Circle, DeFuniak Springs, FL 32435
