Sealed bids for the COMMANDER LANDING BOARDWALK IMPROVEMENTS REBID will be received by the Board of County Commissioners, Walton County, Florida, hereinafter referred to as "County".
Bids will be received until 10:00 A.M. LOCAL TIME on October 14, 2021 and will open immediately thereafter.
BIDDER IS RESPONSIBEL FOR THE DELIVERY OF ITS BID. BIDS RECEIVED AFTER THE SPECIFIED DATE AND TIME WILL NOT BE OPENED.
OUR AREA IS NOT A DESIGNATED OVERNIGHT FEDEX DELIVERY. OUR OFFICE IS CLOSED ON ALL FRIDAYS. IT IS THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BIDDER TO ENSURE THEIR BID PACKAGE IS DELIVERED ON TIME AND TO THE CORRECT DESIGNATED PLACE
PROJECT: The proposed work includes the construction of a new gravel parking lot, sidewalks, porta potty restroom, overnight camping pavilion, timber boardwalks, picnic pavilion, and a new floating dock with ADA kayak loading station. The project also includes the construction of an electrical meter and lines to provide power to the new camping shelter.
A MANDATORY pre-bid will be held at 9:00 AM on October 5, 2021 at the Walton County Public Works Conference Room 117 Montgomery Circle, DeFuniak Springs, FL 32435. Bidders may also attend the pre-bid meeting via teleconference by dialing 850-635-0655, extension 265034.
Bidders attending in person must be present at the designated start time of the pre-bid conference and must remain until the conference is adjourned.
Bidders attending via teleconference are strongly encouraged to join the teleconference at least 10 minutes before the designated start time. If unable to join the teleconference at the number above, please call 850-892-8108 and ask to be included in the Commander Landing Boardwalk Improvements Rebid Teleconference.
Attendance of ALL bidders will be confirmed via roll call at no later than 5 minutes after the designated start time and any Bidder not present for the roll call will not be eligible to bid on the project. ALL Bidders must remain until the conference is adjourned. The County will not accept bids from bidders arriving after attendance is confirmed or departing prior to adjournment of the pre-bid conference.
Last date to submit questions is October 7, 2021 no later than 12:00 Noon. All questions are to be directed in writing to the County Purchasing Agent. DIRECTING QUESTIONS TO ANY OTHER STAFF, PROJECT ENGINEER AND ANY OTHER PERSON IS PROHIBITED AND WILL RESULT IN BID BEING DISQUALIFIED. Questions received after such date and time will not be answered.
To be considered, Bidder must submit bid digitally on a USB THUMB DRIVE, along with ONE ORIGINAL PAPER BID, in a sealed envelope with Bid number along with "COMMANDER LANDING BOARDWALK IMPROVEMENTS REBID" on front of envelope, addressed to Central Purchasing at 176 Montgomery Circle, DeFuniak Springs, FL 32435
