The Board of County Commissioners, Walton County, Florida (the “County”) is seeking proposals from firms providing mobile Application “app” design, build, and ongoing maintenance.

RFP closes September 30, October 11, 2021, no later than 10:30 AM local time and will open immediately thereafter.

PROJECT SCOPE OF WORK: Develop a high functioning visually attractive app that serves as a tool for users to book beach setups on Walton County public beaches and learn about beach warning flags and water safety.

OUR AREA IS NOT A GUARANTEED OVERNITE FEDEX DELIVERY LOCATION. OUR OFFICE IS CLOSED ON FRIDAYS AND WILL BE CLOSED ON SEPTEMBER 6, 2021 IN OBSERVANCE OF LABOR DAY. IT IS THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR TO ENSURE THEIR RFP PACKAGE ARRIVES ON THE CORRECT DATE, TIME, AND DESTINATION

LATE SUBMITTALS RECEIVED AFTER THE AFOREMENTIONED DEADLINE, EITHER BY MAIL OR OTHERWISE, WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED AND RETURNED UNOPENED. THE TIME OF RECEIPT WILL BE DETERMINED BY THE TIME RECEIVED IN THE PURCHASING AGENT’S OFFICE. IT IS THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PROPOSERS FOR ASSURING THAT THEIR THE PROPOSALS ARE RECEIVED IN THE PURCHASING OFFICE BY THE DESIGNATED DATE AND TIME. NO FAXED, ELECTRONIC, OR ORAL RFP’s WILL BE ACCEPTED

Last date to submit questions is September 20, 2021 no later than 12:00 Noon. All questions are to be directed in writing to the County Purchasing Agent. DIRECTING QUESTIONS TO ANY OTHER STAFF, PROJECT ENGINEER AND ANY OTHER PERSON IS PROHIBITED AND WILL RESULT IN BID BEING DISQUALIFIED. Questions received after such date and time will not be answered.

To be considered, Firm/Team must submit ONE (1) paper original and ONE (1) digital copy of their proposal on a USB thumb drive in a sealed envelope or package, clearly marked with the Firm/Team’s name and address, and the words “MOBILE APPLICATION” addressed to: Office of Central Purchasing 176 Montgomery Circle DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32435
