[ARCHIVED] CLOSED - WALTON COUNTY'S NEXT ROUND OF COVID-19 VACCINE APPOINTMENTS OPENS 1:00 P.M.

The Florida Department of Health in Walton County has received 800 doses of Moderna Covid-19 vaccine for the week of January 25-29.   

Registration opens at 1:00 p.m. today for Florida residents who are 65 years old or older. You will be able to register online or, if you do not have computer access, by telephone at 850-892-8392.   

***YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ACCESS THE WEBSITE, OR CALL THE PHONE NUMBER TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT UNTIL 1:00 PM CT****

We have received 800 doses of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine which will be distributed over 3 days.  

NO APPOINTMENTS WILL BE MADE FOR WALK-UPS.  YOU CAN ONLY REGISTER VIA THE LINKS OR OVER THE PHONE.

  • Wednesday, January 27, 2021 (FDOH Walton - Coastal Branch Clinic, Santa Rosa Beach, FL) - CLOSED
  • Thursday, January 28, 2021 (Walton County Fairgrounds, Defuniak Springs, FL) - CLOSED
  • Friday, January 29, 2021 (FDOH Walton - Coastal Branch Clinic, Santa Rosa Beach, FL) - CLOSED

There is no waitlist for this or other distributions.  Walk-up will not be accepted at the vaccine locations.  Please continue to monitor the FDOH – Walton Website, Walton County BCC Website, and the Walton County Emergency Management Facebook page for future distributions.

Further immunizations will be scheduled after these dates as vaccine supply allows.

We will be administering the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine. This means if you previously received Pfizer vaccine for your first dose you CANNOT receive the Moderna vaccine for your second dose. This also means your second dose MUST be the Moderna vaccine.
