Walton County Commission Recognizes Employees for Exceptional Customer Service
In November of 2019, the Walton County Department of Administration launched a Customer Satisfaction Survey on our website. The survey was created with the support of the Walton County Board of County Commissioners following the introduction of the topic by District 2 Commissioner Danny Glidewell.
“Customer service is critical to providing quality government to our citizens,” said Glidewell. “I am extremely proud that our staff embraces the concept and appreciate their efforts to serve every citizen.”
In November of 2019, Walton County placed a Customer Satisfaction Survey on their website and requested that all employees place a link to the survey in their emails.
During their regularly schedule meeting held on July 27th, the BCC received information from County Administrator Larry Jones about the current results of the Customer Satisfaction Survey. Since the implementation of the survey, Walton County has received a rating of 4.6 stars for those that have completed the survey.
“We are extremely proud of the results we have received from the public,” said Jones. “We believe that results shine very favorable on our staff and we would like to thank every one of them for their dedication and hard work.
The following information was presented to the Commission.
“The success of an organization is reflected in the satisfaction of those it serves. In this instance, the satisfaction of the citizens and visitors of Walton County shows that from our front-line people to our management staff all work diligently to represent the Board of County Commissioner in the most favorable way,” said District 5 Commissioner Tony Anderson. “I am personally and professionally proud of each and every county employee and the commitment that these survey results clearly demonstrate. A special thank you and heart felt appreciation for the outstanding job they do on behalf of the County and the Board County Commissioners.”
BCC Chairman Bill Chapman said, “I am very appreciative of the diligence and hard work they put forth towards dealing with the public and answering their questions.”
