This is the second of three phases to update the Comprehensive Plan and Land Use Code. This phase will include correcting inconsistencies and redundancies in the code, making sure the code is clear and easy to use, and keeps with the overall goal of the plan, which is to serve the community in the best way possible. Walton County Planning and Development is holding the workshops to ensure that everyone in the community who wishes to give input about the Land Development Code and the updates that are being made has a chance to do so. Members of the Planning Department are looking forward to discussing the upcoming changes to the code and listening to any concerns, with the ultimate goal of being able to serve the needs and interests of every citizen of Walton County.
