Garbage Service
Our mission is to provide reliable and environmentally responsible solid waste management services to the citizens of Walton County, while promoting sustainable practices and preserving the beauty and health of our community. These essential services fall under the purview of the Walton County Environmental Services Department, which oversees operations and here, we provide a comprehensive overview of our services.
Funding for Responsible Practices
Our funding structure rests on a 1 percent surtax applied to taxable items sold within Walton County. This crucial funding mechanism ensures the efficiency of our residential collection services and enables proper disposal solutions for both residential and commercial solid waste.
