Tony Anderson is the Walton County, District 5 Commissioner. He was elected by the voters of Walton County on November 8, 2016.

Raised in Walton County, Florida, Commissioner-Elect Anderson has spent his lifetime delivering for our communities.

For more than 30 years, Tony delivered our mail as a rural carrier for the US Postal Service. After he retired from the Postal Service, Tony started his own business. With a strong base of customers in South Walton, Tony built his insulation and garage repair firm into a successful, 45-person operation, and sold the business in 2009.

Tony is the proud father of three adult children (Keagan, Colby, and Logan) and one granddaughter. He coached Little League in Walton County for 15 years, served as a charter member of the South Walton Kiwanis Club, and is a past board member of the Walton County Small Business Association. A faithful Christian, Tony attends Destiny Worship in Miramar Beach.

As your commissioner, Tony’s priorities will be to: create more job opportunities for residents while reducing taxes, improving county infrastructure, protecting Walton County's beaches, and improving recreation options for families.
