Title VI/ADA Compliance
WALTON COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COMPLIES WITH TITLE VI OF THE CIVIL RIGHTS ACT OF 1964 and does not tolerate discrimination in any of its programs, services, or activities. Walton County will not exclude participation in, deny the benefits of, or subject to discrimination anyone on the grounds of race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, religion, or family status.
In accordance with the requirements of Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 ("ADA"), the Walton County Board of County Commissioners will not discriminate against individuals with disabilities on the basis of disability in its services, programs, or activities.
Participants requesting a reasonable accommodation, as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act, must notify the Walton County ADA Coordinator at 850-892-8108 or by email at adacompliance@co.walton.fl.us. Notification must be made at least 48 hours in advance to allow sufficient time to provide the accommodation.
Participants with a request for communication access to participate in a County program, service, or activity, should the Walton County ADA Coordinator at 850-892-8108 or by email at adacompliance@co.walton.fl.us. as soon as possible but no later than 48 hours before any scheduled event.
