Responsibilities
The Walton County Housing Agency administers a federal grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. This grant gives us the means to provide rental assistance to low and very low income families in Walton County.
Our Mission:
“To promote adequate and affordable housing, economic opportunity and a suitable living environment free from discrimination.”
“To be stewards of public funds and trust, and to serve all customers with respect.”
Our Department Oversees:
- Rental assistance to eligible families
- Family Self-Sufficiency Program
- Fair Housing Education programs
- Maintenance of quality housing available for the program
- Current waiting list for the program
Application for Assistance:
Application is a fillable PDF form. It can be printed out and completed in full, or it can be filled in and only signatures and dates are required to be filled by hand. Complete and return by mail or drop off to the Housing and Urban Development Office. Click to open application.

- 1 Person $23,250
- 2 Person $26,550
- 3 Person $29,850
- 4 Person $33,150
- 5 Person $35,850
- 6 Person $38,500
- 7 Person $41,150
- 8 Person $43,800
