A lifelong Walton County resident, educator, and conservative with strong Christian roots, Republican Cecilia Jones has worked diligently to make Walton County a better place to raise families, work, play, and retire. As County Commissioner from 2008-2012, Cecilia improved our county government with honesty and integrity, placing her emphasis on people and open government, not county politics or special interests. Cecilia welcomed and encouraged citizen involvement, streamlined and reduced the budget to keep taxes low in Walton County, and was a driving force behind expediting the widening of Highway 331.
