This section is designed to give you the information you need to prepare for emergencies and storms before they arrive and to provide you with critical updates as storms approach our region.  Notice the Quick Links to the right side of this page.  They give you fast access to a weather radar for our area, on-line weather radio, current traffic conditions, and river readings of 3 local rivers proned to flooding.  On the left side of this page are links to the county's Family Preparedness Guide (which covers evacuation information, shelters, preparedness kits, etc.) and information relating to recent storms and recovery.
