Planning and Development Services Division consists of the following Departments:   
    *Administrative Services/Beach Permits Department
    *Code Enforcement Department 
    *Current Planning 
    *EAR Meetings and Process
    *Geospatial Analysis
    *Long Range Planning

Planning and Development Services Division provides information and resources regarding: 
    *Building large and small developments in Walton County 
    *Submitting applications and supporting documentation for developments 
    *Obtaining Beach and Temporary Permits
    *Filing a complaint with Code Enforcement

The Planning and Development Services Division is responsible for the administration of the Walton County Comprehensive Plan and Land Development Code as well as DRI project management functions. The Division coordinates the meetings, workshops, and public hearings for the following Boards:

    Code Enforcement Board
    Design Review Board
    Planning Commission
    Technical Review Committee
    Zoning Board of Adjustment
    EAR  (Evaluation and Appraisal Report)
