Support Services is an umbrella Division that provides interface and coordination between the Board of County Commissioners and the following departments: Human Resources, Section 8/HUD, Walton County Fire Rescue, Veteran’s Services, Animal Control, Recreation and Safety. The mission of this division is to coordinate the activities of assigned county departments and other agencies that provide direct, emergency and non-emergency services to the citizens of Walton County and to conduct and coordinate special projects as assigned by the County Administrator and the Board of County Commissioners.
